The water-cooled condenser has removable caps and compressor suction/discharge valves for easy access and servicing. A brazed plate evaporator provides efficient heat exchange. The galvanized steel frame offers a sturdy construction.

Controlled by a mechanical thermostat, the MW Series central chiller includes a coolant flow switch, coolant freezestat, compressor motor overload protection, refrigerant high and low pressure switches, and a refrigerant pressure release valve for safety.

The 5 - 40 ton single zone, 20 - 80 ton dual zone, and 90 - 120 ton triple zone models are equipped with a braze plate evaporator. Shell and tube evaporators are on the 5 - 40 ton single zone, 100 - 120 ton dual zone, and 90 120 ton triple zone models. Condenser manifolds are on all dual and triple zone with single supply and return ports.

Hermetic scroll compressors on 5 - 30 ton single zone models and 20 - 60 dual zone models. Semi-Hermetic compressors used on 35 - 60 ton single zone models, 70 - 120 ton dual zone models, and 90 - 180 tone triple zone models. Dual and triple zone compressors are staged individually.

All single zone models are controlled by a mechanical thermostat. A microprocessor-based multi-zone thermostat controls all dual and triple zone chillers.

Water-cooled models are recommended where adequate condensing water supplies are available from tower or city water sources.
